Sweet Teeth

Everyone knows the phrase “Betcha can’t just eat one”.  While some people are rather good at eating one chip and putting the bag away or having only one bite of dessert, many of us are unable to stop once we start. Moderation means that you can have anything, as long as you don’t indulge or have it all the time. This is pretty ambiguous and leaves it up to the person who is moderating. We all know we like to interpret things our own way and maybe justify. You may be the “out of sight, out of mind” type of person, and have goals you’re trying to reach or a healthy lifestyle you’re trying to maintain and just can’t have it around to tempt. Do what works for you. If you are a healthy moderator and there are things you love, there’s no reason to miss out (unless of course there are medical reasons). Just remember, be mindful. Buy a treat from your favorite local bakery, cut it into multiple pieces and store it in the freezer. Pop a bite (or two!) on a day when you have a craving. You’ll have your fix and won’t feel like you’re depriving yourself of your favorite things during your wellness journey.

It has been said that if you BRUSH YOUR TEETH after eating dinner it can help manage sugar cravings. Thankful for the wealth of knowledge we receive thru the years, learning helpful tips such as this one. Theres always this method for you, too!  This tip really works!
